Hot Birthday Party at the Fire Station
Treat a favorite child to a birthday party at a working fire
station with real firefighters!
The Omaha Fire Department rolls out the welcome mat for up to 20 kids. Adventure includes station tour, safety talk, apparatus display and a closeup look at a firefighter's gear.
Each kid receives at plastic fire helmet as a party favor. The party must be held on a Saturday afternoon; winner has choice of four stations in Omaha fire district.
Party must be scheduled a minimum of three weeks in advance.

A winter morning with the sun rising over the Iowa bluffs is viewed from
Omaha. Snow-covered roofs and lights in the windows of early risers
highlight the contrast of small homes and downtown buildings covered in a
blanket of white.
The artist, Jim Horan, is the creator of the Omaha Press Club's "Face on the Barroom Floor." The former Omaha World-Herald artist is a freelance illustrator. His paintings are in a number of collections.
